Search for a full time Rector!
We are currently in search of a full time rector, the position opening can be found by visiting the jobs page on the ACNA website and applications can be made through the Anglican Dioceses of San Joaquin.
We are seeking an energetic, family-oriented, strong leader to help us go forward in doing the work of the Lord, through both ministry and administrative abilities. The rector at Christ Church Anglican Mission (CCAM) will be someone who loves the Lord and loves us, not only for who we are, but also for who we can become.
As members of the Anglican Church in North America participating through the Anglican Diocese of San Joaquin, we are grounded in the Authoritative Word of God. We are one of 32 congregations in the diocese. Our home is in the central part of the San Joaquin Valley, and we consider ourselves to be Valley Anglicans, serving members from several area towns. In comparison with many parts of California, the Hanford/Lemoore area in Kings County is very affordable. Finding a new rector is crucial to lead us in fulfilling our mission – to make disciples of Jesus Christ, teach obedience to all that He commands, and share the richness of life within the Anglican tradition. We can offer a financial package based on diocesan recommendations and candidate experience.

CHRIST CHURCH ANGLICAN MISSION - Exciting Time.
UPDATED: 1 August 2021
Friends,
Praise the Lord. It is a joy and a pleasure to see everyone during our regular Sunday services. In the midst of this global pandemic we are overjoyed to be able to gather together and celebrate the amazing love and mercy of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If you are able we would love to see you on Sunday mornings as we gather together. While masks are no longer mandated, if you would still feel more comfortable wearing one please do so. Either way with or without a mask we want you to join us in person on Sunday mornings at 10:00am.
Father Richard (out interim rector) is still conducting Anglican Catechism classes every Sunday after our service. It is not too late to join in and learn more about what we believe as Anglicans.
Additionally, we ask you to please continue praying for our search for a new rector, the healing of our country, relief from COVID, and more rain for the Central Valley.
If you are attending the online services and are interested in receiving communion please email the Church at [email protected] so that we can coordinate a time for Father Richard to provide that ministry.
Father Richard continues his pastoral visits around our community. If you have not heard from him and would like to, we ask that you email the church at [email protected] and we will make sure he gets you added to his list of visits.
This coming Saturday, August 7th, at 8:00 am, the men of Christ Church Anglican Mission would like to invite any men (young and old) of the community to join us for a Men's Breakfast, followed by fellowship and an opportunity to hear a brief word from the new Rector of St. Paul's Anglican Church of Visalia, Father Robert Longbottom.
We, as your Vestry, are committed to serve you, our church members and the greater Hanford/Lemoore community.
Please feel free to reach out to any of us if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.
